Plus, as an added bonus, we launched our new members only "Focus" Group on Facebook!  We are quite excited about the changes and we hope you enjoy this month's Planner Series!

  • Bullet Journal
  • Decorating Your Planner
  • Printable and Custom Planners

While you listen to each week's episode, answer these 3 questions:
  1. What do you need your planner to track for you?

   Quo Vadis

  1. I was using a leather travel notebook as a bullet journal, and it worked okay for about a 1/2 year. but it was not easy to fit in my purse. I have recently changed over to a monthly/weekly calendar planner that came with a small matching notebook. I keep the 'key' notes, or bullet items in the small notebook. The planner is used for quick schedule view and also for tracking in the weekly sections. I haven't decorated it yet - thinking about it. but it was pretty and they both have a hard outside cover that I really like.

    1. Nice! I just got my first TN and I am bringing it with me to Junkie Fest. So far I am loving it and the smell! Oh my!

  2. I have tried a lined pad, a Franklin Planner, a Filofax, an Erin Condren Life Planner, a Day Runner, and any number of no-name versions I picked up when I saw them. The only one that has worked for more than a couple of months at a time is my Bullet Journal. I splurged on a "real" Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journal (I'm on my second) but I have so many notebooks that after this one is full I'm just going to use what I have. I've been bullet journaling since September 2015!!! Consistently!!! You have no idea what an accomplishment that is!!!

    1. YEAH!!! You are AMAZING and I totally wanted to try it after you started yours and I am so glad that I finally have the chance!

  3. I have not tried a planner yet! But I would want it to be compact so I could carry it in my purse, and mostly for appointments. I'd like to start out with something simple and basic!

    1. Heck ya! Purse size is always convenient and a good way to go!

  4. We have clearly discovered the hype! It's cost us a fortune!

    1. LOL Yes, it has!!! Fun #foolishness

  5. I haven't used planners before, but thanks to you I definitely have one more crafty hobby to spend money for... I don't know if that's good yet ;)
But it is fun! I just started my first bullet journal and just try out different styles. Thanks for all the inspiration you left here throughout the month and on Instagram and Facebook!

    1. Awwwww so glad you are enjoying it and I am having ball sharing the planner love with my best friends!

  6. I keep a larger planner at home that I keep track of all appointments, any issues when our granddaughter goes to visit mom and special dates for family and friends but also have a small notebook that I keep in my purse so I can write down appointments when I am at the doctors, project ideas, grocery lists and other out and about information which gets transferred to my main planner as soon as I get home!
I have found that these two methods work together for me at this time!
Having all the visitation information in my main planner is great because when we go to court or to talk with the lawyer all I have to do is grab the planner and all the information is at my finger tips! I highly recommend that anyone who is in a child custody situation gets a planner to keep all the notes in regarding any issues, visitation schedule, vaccinations, school notes and court dates. It has certainly made my life easier! Would love to win a new planner to try out becaus my needs are always evolving and I also like to change things up often! Thanks for the great series!
