Finding Your Mojo

Since I slammed head first into the blahs, I figured today would be a great time to move our podcast calendar around and bring forth the episode on Losing Your Mojo, because I definitely misplaced mine.  But, what I want to know is why.

  • Why do we hit these creative walls that stop us dead in our tracks?
  • How can we overcome them?
  • What can we do to find it again?
  • When do we decide to follow our mojo and go on a mini hiatus?

  2. Fabulous podcast and your timing is perfect, as my mojo has headed to the tropics, leaving me behind! I agree: too much of any one thing depletes our energy and creativity; we need to switch gears to allow those parts of us to rejuvenate and replenish. I love making cards, but of late, because I'm on a variety of DTs, I feel like I'm not creating 'for me' and the results aren't making the 'inner' me proud or happy. So guess what I'm doing? I picked up a cross-stitch pattern that I set aside that needs ever so much attention: a Noah's Ark birth sampler I started when my nephew was born...and he just turned FIVE! I'm getting into the groove, with some stitching and stamping *grin* In fact, I bought a pattern for a x-stitch Halloween banner that's so stinkin' cute! But, the Noah's Ark comes first (and I won't tell you how many colours of thread the pattern calls for to create a zebra *grin*). Again, {heart} your podcasts!

  3. Thanks for these great tips. I especially love the getting out in nature as well as trying a new hobby. Not sure my husband will like the last one but oh well. Lol. I also like looking at different card challenges it helps me to think out of the box and look at the stamps I have and how I can use them differently. Love the podcast as always!
